Bralo is the most competitive company in the world in the manufacture and distribution of rivets and rivet nuts, offering complete solutions in the industrial, automotive, construction and renewable energy sectors, among others. Since it was founded more than three decades ago, it has been carrying out a continuous investment programme, developing its own technological innovations which, in some cases, have been a real milestone in fastener technology. This success story is based on efficient organisation and dynamic, entrepreneurial management.
It is a multinational company with a presence in many countries and continents for which we have defined the network and security architecture of both its headquarters and all its offices. All installations use clusters of firewalls managed securely, via VPN connections, from a FWCloud console hosted in the virtualisation infrastructures at headquarters. All VPN connections as well as the accesses of each of them are managed in a very simple way from this FWCloud console.
We have also designed and implemented a high-performance virtualization infrastructure based on a Proxmox VE cluster with Ceph distributed storage, ensuring scalability and resilience across the entire virtualization environment.
The solution is complemented by a dual backup scheme using Proxmox Backup Server (PBS):
Local backup for immediate restorations.
Remote backup with a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), which even allows virtual machines to be launched directly on the PBS itself.
To provide a data-level copy on a separate backup solution, we integrated an immutable data-level backup system with Veeam Backup, using an agent, adding an extra layer of protection against ransomware and accidental deletions.
We have also implemented several services within their virtualisation infrastructures, including email based on a dedicated virtual server with integrated antivirus/antispam system.
