Telefónica, S.A. is a Spanish multinational telecommunications company headquartered in Madrid. It is the fourth largest telecommunications company in Europe and the thirteenth largest in the world; Telefónica brand is reserved exclusively for the company’s institutional role. For the marketing of its products and services, the company has three main brands: Movistar for Spain and Latin America, O2 for Europe, Tuenti for Argentina and Ecuador, and Vivo for Brazil.
At the customer’s request we have assembled a PoC (Proof of Concept) of a three-node Proxmox VE Ceph Cluster with mesh network for Ceph communication to show all the functionalities of such a complete and powerful virtualization environment as Proxmox VE. As part of it we have included a PBS (Proxmox Backup Server) as a virtual machine to also show its features.
We have also implemented a FWCloud console to manage a set of Linux-based firewalls that before were managed by IPTables-based scripts. Thanks to the change, the management of these firewalls has been significantly improved and simplified.
