XGL Logistics is an international freight forwarder. As logistics operators we offer national and international warehousing and distribution services. Through its offices and network of agents located worldwide, XGL provides logistics solutions in air, land, sea and supply chain management. They specialise in dangerous goods and offer their customers all the services of their warehouses.
For them we have implemented a private cloud formed from the OVHcloud bare metal service on which we have implemented a Proxmox/Ceph cluster as well as most of the systems hosted within this virtualisation infrastructure.
They have a PBS (Proxmox Backup Server) hosted on their own premises on which they back up all their virtual machines, as well as frequent copies (every few minutes) of their most critical virtual machines in order to ensure data resilience. They also make use of our PBS Online service which allows them to have an additional copy.
For email they use Office 365 mailboxes for which we have provided them with the necessary licences, as well as a backup of these based on Veeam Backup for Office 365, as Microsoft does not guarantee the backup of mailboxes hosted on its premises.
